The Bay Islands are the perfect place to catch up on afternoon naps, that stack of books you have wanted to read, and those conversations you have wanted to have.  It is the kind of place where you can be as busy or still as you want to be.  But, to manage your expectations, don't expect TV or Internet.  It is a slower pace and what is important in life is a lot more basic.

Day trip to East Harbor
Barry can provide transportation for a trip from the Cays to East Harbor, the main town on the island of Utila.  The town is fun to visit because of the Caribbean architecture, shops, and restaurants- including an ice cream store.  It is a good place to get souvenirs, if needed.  You can also spend the day on rented bikes, exploring the town and surrounding beaches.  The cost for a one way ride to Utila or back is $75 one way or $150 round trip NOTE: This price is the same for pick-up in East Harbor when you arrive and when you depart.)

Fishing
Weather permitting, Barry can take you out for several hours of deep-sea fishing.  Bonita, barracudas, and albacore are what you might catch.  In addition, it is worth mentioning that any time you are out on the ocean you may see a whale shark.  Utila is the only place in the world where there are whale sharks year round.  Equipment will be provided.  The cost of a fishing trip is $150 for 3 people maximum. $50 per extra person after 3.

Boat Outings
If you are interested in chartering a boat for a tour around the main island (a half day trip)  to see what there is to see, please let Barry know.  Half-day boat tours are $150.  As with all boating activities, the availability of this service is subject to cancellation given the weather.

-Day excursion around our beautiful island Utila Cays, Turtle Harbor, The North Side of the island and many more for a cost of $150. 
-Daily trips to Cayos Cochinos for a cost of $350.
-Pick up trips to and from Utila with a cost of $50 per trip. 
-Whale shark and dolphin excursion $50.
